When asked to reflect why the Burgart family chose to send their three children through RCS, Julie and Larry point out the importance of providing every day faith formation in school. "We are called as Christians to love, nurture and educate our children in ways that reflect our Christian beliefs," said Julie Burgart. "We followed this belief by having our children receive their education at Holy Spirit and Lourdes High School."
Larry Burgart confirms their three children received an excellent academic experience nurtured in the context of values, interpersonal and community responsibility. "Our children are all different in their interests and academic aptitudes, said Burgart, "They all left Lourdes High School very prepared for college and beyond."
Even though the Burgart's are still putting two through college they feel their participation is important to help build the new high school. "Building a new Lourdes High School facility is a phenomenal way to vigorously pursue our Christian belief and mission to make sure Catholic education and schools are alive and present in Rochester," affirms Julie Burgart.
Every dollar, every person and every effort are critical in support of this important mission.
